Richard is an experienced Director / Cameraman / Editor.
His career was born out of passion for adventure, creativity and technology, and now he specialises in wildlife and factual TV.
Richard is part of a new evolution of filmmakers and draws upon emerging technologies to enable him to film around the globe, above the clouds, on land and below the water, bringing engaging and challenging stories to a wider audience.
He is currently shooting up to 4k resolution and is developing stereoscopic production concepts.
Richard formed a company (Edge 2 Edge Films ltd) with a collective in 2001 ensuring that he has the support and back up of a larger team, should the need arise.
Credits include: Discovery HD, BBC2, Five, ITV, Sony, History Chanel, Yesterday and various international news broadcasters and channels.
Richard holds extensive experience of: HD cameras, jib, Steadicam, track, timelapse, sound recording, formats and codecs, offline and online editing.
He is a PADI qualified diver, freelance trainer for the UK Wildlife Film School and offers camera drone filming.
